The Only Gift I Seek Now Is Respect – Rinhee Suberwal on Her Birthday

Renowned Tarot card reader, healer, and entrepreneur Rinhee Suberwal celebrates her birthday on October 14th, but for her, it’s more than just a personal milestone it’s a moment of reflection, gratitude, and divine connection.

“We are just going out with our family members because they are the ones who ultimately matter to me the most,” she says warmly. “Also, we are going to celebrate the success of the YUVAA Icon Awards in the coming days, which makes this birthday even more special.”

When asked if she prefers grand celebrations, Rinhee smiles and adds, “I love to celebrate with friends and family, and that is what I do every year. For me, being surrounded by loved ones is more important than anything extravagant.”

Her birthday always begins on a spiritual note. “I start my day with prayers and healing for others. My first ritual is to worship Goddess Baglamukhi and Goddess Kali before anything else,” she explains. “People assume healers are self-centered, but for me, the root of Goddess Kali is about justice and strength.”

Despite her spiritual work, her schedule leaves little time for leisure. “We are always working,” she admits. “Whether it’s Sunday or Monday, it doesn’t make any difference. Like actors, our profession keeps us constantly engaged.”

Recalling her most cherished birthday memories, Rinhee gets emotional. “The most treasured gift I ever received was from my grandmother. She gave her life for me, and after her, birthdays feel incomplete,” she shares softly.

When asked what she would gift herself this year, she reflects deeply. “I want to give myself respect. After all I’ve done and fought for, that’s the only thing I ask from the Almighty. I’m not a soft healer—I’m a fiery one, and I want people to value those who give so much of themselves.”

As she celebrates this year, her thoughts remain with her late grandmother. “This is my first birthday without her,” Rinhee says. “And she’s the one person without whom my birthday will never be complete.”
