Minister Rajnath Singh Applauds Amaran for Honoring Indian Army Heroes

Shri Rajnath Singh, Minister of Defence, met the team behind the successful film Amaran—actor Sivakarthikeyan, director Rajkumar Periasamy, and producer R Mahendran—at his residence in New Delhi. The Minister congratulated the team for their exceptional portrayal of the patriotism and heroism of Major Mukund Varadarajan and the Indian Army.

Amaran is a moving tribute to the real-life hero, blending action, emotion, and realism into a powerful cinematic experience. Produced by Kamal Haasan, Mahendran, and Sony Pictures, and directed by Rajkumar Periasamy, the film stars Sivakarthikeyan and Sai Pallavi in the lead roles. Since its release, the film has been receiving rave reviews from audiences and has been making waves at the box office.

 

Shri Kamal Haasan, who is currently abroad, expressed his gratitude for the support of the Ministry of Defence and the Indian Army. He acknowledged their cooperation, which played a crucial role in ensuring the authentic portrayal of the heroes of the Indian Army.

Also present at the meeting were Vishwanath Ramaswamy, Founder and Director of Divo Movies, and Colonel (Retd.) Vinoth Saravanan.
