Divyanshi Bhowmick, a rising star in Indian table tennis, created history by becoming the first Indian in 36 years to win the Under-15 Girls’ Singles title at the Asian Youth Championships in Uzbekistan. At just 15 years of age, Divyanshi showcased exceptional skill and determination, registering impressive victories against strong international opponents from Japan and China.
Tanvi Sharma Scripts Badminton History
In badminton, 16-year-old Tanvi Sharma has emerged as a global sensation. She became the youngest Indian woman ever to reach a BWF World Tour Final, achieving the feat at the US Open Super 300 in Iowa. Her journey included notable wins over world-ranked players such as Polina Buhrova and top seed Beiwen Zhang.
Tanvi also achieved a historic milestone by becoming the World No. 1 Junior Women’s Singles player, firmly establishing herself as one of the brightest prospects in Indian badminton.
