Commits to Plant 4,000 Saplings Across Its Developments; First Phase Begins with 500 Saplings
Noida July 2026: Reinforcing its commitment to environmental sustainability and responsible urban development, CRC Group organized a large-scale plantation drive at CRC The Flagship in Sector 140A, Noida, in support of the government’s ‘Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam’ initiative. The plantation drive was organized as part of the broader ‘Vriksharopan Mahayagya 2026’ campaign, which aims to significantly enhance green cover through large-scale afforestation across the state.
As part of its long-term sustainability roadmap, CRC Group has pledged to plant 4,000 saplings across its projects and office campuses. The initiative commenced on July 12, with the successful plantation of 500 saplings during the first phase at CRC The Flagship.
The plantation drive witnessed enthusiastic participation from CRC Group’s employees, business partners (GPs), and officials from the Uttar Pradesh Pollution Control Board (UPPCB), reflecting a shared commitment to environmental conservation and community well-being.
The event was graced by Mr. Praveen Kumar, Chief Environmental Officer, UPPCB; Mr. Ritesh Tiwari, Regional Officer, Noida, UPPCB; and Mr. Kishan Singh, Assistant Environmental Engineer (AEE), UPPCB. The dignitaries participated in the plantation drive and encouraged greater public participation in afforestation initiatives, emphasizing that tree plantation, coupled with regular maintenance of saplings, is essential for creating a sustainable and climate-resilient future.
The initiative reflects CRC Group’s ongoing efforts to contribute to ecological balance, expand green cover, and inspire environmentally responsible practices among its stakeholders. More than a symbolic activity, the plantation drive is part of the company’s broader vision of integrating sustainability into every aspect of its developments and fostering healthier, greener communities.
