Community Unites at HCG Borivali for Breast Cancer Awareness Cyclothon & Walkathon

Over 800 people gather in Borivali for a day of fitness and awareness, encouraging early detection and prevention of breast cancer through entertaining activities and professional insights.

 HCG Cancer Centre, Borivali, today organized one of the city’s largest Cyclothons and Walkathons, bringing together over 800 individuals in an outstanding show of community camaraderie for breast cancer awareness. The 13-kilometer event emphasized the importance of breast cancer prevention, early detection, and easily obtainable options for treatment while also encouraging physical fitness.

The Cyclothon and Walkathon, which started at 6:00 a.m. at the HCG Cancer Centre, drew a diverse crowd of trained cyclists, older residents, and cancer survivors who came together to send a message of hope and awareness. Participants additionally took part in a relaxing Yoga session and a vibrant Zumba class at YMCA Garden, both of which emphasized the link between physical health and cancer prevention.

The event concluded with healthcare professionals addressing the audience, providing guidance on preventive care and the life-saving importance of early breast cancer detection.
