National College, Bandra, hosted a special musical evening as Nirvaan presented a soulful performance in front of an audience of nearly 600 people. The event was part of the Soul Science initiative, where singing is used as a form of therapy and music becomes a tool for inner connection through Sounds for the Soul.
The evening focused on the idea that sound has the power to calm the mind and create awareness. As Nirvaan took the stage, his music created a peaceful and reflective atmosphere. The audience remained deeply engaged, experiencing the performance as a moment of stillness and connection rather than just entertainment.
This musical session was designed as a part of Soul Science’s ongoing mission, which believes that singing and sound can support emotional balance and inner well-being. Through this initiative, music is presented as a natural and accessible therapy that helps people slow down, feel present, and connect with themselves.
Sharing his thoughts, Mr Nirvaan Birla, Founder & Managing Director of Birla Open Minds Education Pvt. Ltd, said, “For me, music is not about performance or perfection. It is about connection. When sound comes from a place of honesty and intention, it reaches the soul naturally. This evening was special because I could feel the collective energy of everyone present. When people sing, listen, or simply sit in silence together, healing happens on its own. In today’s fast-paced world, we rarely give ourselves the space to feel. Through Soul Science, I hope people experience music not just with their ears, but with their hearts and awareness. When that happens, music becomes meditation.”
Nirvaan’s Sounds for the Soul session served as a reminder that music can go beyond the stage and play a meaningful role in personal well-being.
